Environmental sustainability

We are committed to having as small a carbon footprint as possible. With that in mind, the Centre is heated with a water source heat pump (similar to a ground source heat pump but situated in the river) - including all the hot water. The electricity supply is both from photovoltaic cells and  from a ‘Green supplier.’  We are developing an organic orchard and vegetable garden and are committed to as much recycling as possible.
